Summer Means Bugs!

By June 21, 2017 No Comments

One thing about summer – there’s a lot more bugs out! Some bugs are just a plain nuisance with bites that itch and sting, and others can transmit dangerous infectious diseases like Lyme, Anaplasmosis and Erlichia, and heartworm. Kitties can also get diseases like Hemotropic Mycoplasmosis from insect bites, which can make us very sick.

The folks here at Antigo Veterinary Clinic know a lot about which products are best for us furry people. Whichever product you choose, make sure to ask your veterinarian about proper use, and safety precautions.
